Homemade Solution to Effectively Clean Windscreen Interiors

Car windscreens are indeed one of the most important parts of the car. It is vital that you clean it up regularly to avoid grime and dirt build up that will highly affect the driver’s visibility. But due to the angle the windscreen is built and the presence of the dashboard, some may find it difficult to clean entirely.

This article will show you how you can effectively clean the inside of your windscreen at a very affordable cost. Some of the cleaning materials can also be found within your home!

To start off, prepare a bowl or a pot filled with warm water. Mix a teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and a few drops of water vinegar. Stir the mixture thoroughly until you see that the dishwashing liquid has dissolved with the vinegar solution.

You will then need two reusable microfiber cloths. One is for washing and the other for dry rinsing. You can purchase these at your local supermarkets and auto shops at an affordable price. If you can’t find any, you can use newspapers instead as these do not leave streaks on the interior of the car windscreen. Just be careful not to use pages that has too much ink on it as it may stain your hands.

As you start with the cleaning, dip the cloth or newspaper into your cleaning solution, then wring it before contacting the surface of the windscreen interior. Wipe the wet cloth on the interior surface in similar strokes. You can add coat hangers, rulers, or rods to your cleaning tools so you can also wipe clean those hard-to-reach corners by pushing the wet cloth into them. Once you’re done, use the other cloth to wipe dry the windscreen.

To achieve a squeaky clean windscreen, be sure to clean the exterior part at the same time.
